How much has changed?

Howdy everyone!

 

It's been about 5 and a half years since we cruised with NCL, and we're now booked on the Pearl for this October. How much has changed since we last cruised on this line? Any big differences that we might not be aware of?

 

Any must do's on the Pearl?

Menus have changed in the last year. Beyond that, I can't remember what was what 5 years ago compared as to what is what now. :confused:

They recently improved the menus after the evisceration they did about 5-6 years ago.

 

The beer list is still awful.

Improved :confused::confused: I suppose that's a matter of personal opinion.

Yes, many people here think that current menus are a vast improvement over the previous ones - I've been happy with both but it's nice to finally have some changes.

 

Like on all other cruise lines there have been cutbacks etc, but other than that not much has changed since we started cruising 6 years ago.

 

With the roll out of beverage and speciality dining packages most specials have gone away so you don't see many 2-for-1 drink specials or free wine on early speciality dinners anymore.
