NCL Spirit balcony (BD)

I have found a good price for the Spirit, balcony cabin on a guarantee BD grade. I am concerned as to whether any of these cabins will be metal fronted or have an obstructed view. It would spoil our cruise if we didn't have a glass fronted balcony, with a clear view. Any help would be appreciated.

We sailed on the Spirit a little over a year ago, and our midships balcony cabin (BA) had a glass front. And I believe all balcony cabins on the Spirit have the same type of transparent glass front. At least that is how it looks from this photo (taken from ncl.com):

Hey Bob, we are just off of the Spirit from Cabin 9028 which is a BD and we had a glass front.

Hope that helps!

I was in 9032 and it had glass fronted balcony. The one thing about these rooms - at least the one that I was in - is that the ship angles in so the couch was not against the wall but against the sliding glass doors. I moved it to the wall but it was not flush but angled.

How did you get a guarantee BD cabin. Usually a guarantee is for any balcony, no lower than BD might be possible?
