bobstheboy Posted March 28, 2015 #1 Share Posted March 28, 2015 I have found a good price for the Spirit, balcony cabin on a guarantee BD grade. I am concerned as to whether any of these cabins will be metal fronted or have an obstructed view. It would spoil our cruise if we didn't have a glass fronted balcony, with a clear view. Any help would be appreciated.

And I believe all balcony cabins on the Spirit have the same type of transparent glass front. At least that is how it looks from this photo (taken from ncl.com):

Any help would be appreciated. I was in 9032 and it had glass fronted balcony. The one thing about these rooms - at least the one that I was in - is that the ship angles in so the couch was not against the wall but against the sliding glass doors. I moved it to the wall but it was not flush but angled.
Da-Painter Posted March 28, 2015 #5 Share Posted March 28, 2015 9702 & 9202 are guarantees on the Spirit you want to avoid. Just do a Search, to see the problems with these staterooms. Book a BD if the price is not much different. Most of the Spirit balcony's are good cabins.
