gpgirl Posted April 1, 2015 #1 Share Posted April 1, 2015 (edited) We just found out (at first we thought it was an April Fools Joke but it is not) that the pilots for our airline are going on strike!!!!!!!!!!!! We can no longer fly into Miami...we now have to drive to the port of Miami and park our car. We were not planning on this and we leave in 36 hours!!!!!!!! How much is parking per day to leave our car at the port? Do we have to pay a shuttle to drive us to ship from parking? Thank you so much for answering...kinda throwing all of this together now last minute!!! Edited April 1, 2015 by gpgirl

JohninDC Posted April 1, 2015 #4 Share Posted April 1, 2015 Parking at POM is convenient, covered and secure - but costs $20/day. :( Parking is very close to each berth, so no shuttle required. Drop your bags with the porters, park your car, and walk to the check-in. Have a good cruise! :)
fendbass Posted April 2, 2015 #5 Share Posted April 2, 2015 The strike was cancelled by a Court order at 3pm yesterday Pilots are ticked off, look for a possible work slowdown as every nit will be picked
