3/29 Magic: Lemons to Lemonade

I'm having a good time on the Magic but due to weather we couldn't dock in Roatan today. Many many disappointed passengers.

 

Captain just announced that today (4/2) is a Sea Day and tomorrow is an unplanned stop at Costa Maya, 7am-2pm.

 

Waiting for a movie at 2pm (Hobbit) which was "downloaded by Carnival at great expense" per the CD.

 

Got to give the cruise line credit for working on alternatives, and we're even supposed to get some shore excursions for CM later today.

 

Stay upbeat like you are. We have missed an occasional port, and were disappointed but just moved onto other things to do on board.

 

Sounds like they made every effort to replace the missed port with alternative. That's the sign of a caring Captain and hard working decision makers. Enjoy!

I hope your day in Costa Maya was great! I love that port! I haven't been there for six years and would LOVE this to be a port on my cruise!

We have never been to Costa Maya. but everyone that has been says it's nice.
