Buying alcohol on ship after clearing customs...

Sailing out of Baltimore to Bahamas, stopping in Key West after the Bahamas and clearing customs in Key West (disclosing purchases on your customs declaration) before returning to Baltimore, are you still able to purchase alcohol on the ship after leaving Key West (having cleared customs)?

Haven't done this specific itinerary but on all cruises where we stopped in a US port before the end of the cruise we only cleared immigration (usually by taking passports down to agents in a dining room). Never turned in the customs form before getting off the ship.

This is our experience also, just passports...no custom declarations.
