Carnival 45 Day Letter

I use to see threads about the above a while back on cruise critic but have not seen them appear in a while.

 

I sent Carnival an email regarding some issues I had on my just concluded Liberty cruise and I got a response which in a nutshell said that to give them a call 45 days from my next cruise sail date and they would give me a "gift" from their Bon Voyage Department.

 

Has anyone received any of these recently? Any idea what the gift is/could be?

Wow. A blast from the past. I remember the 45 day letter. I have not heard of this happening lately. We used to get a bottle of wine or champagne when we wrote a 45 day letter.

I had one of these some where after our Hurricane Katrina fiasco. I don't know what happened to it. I probably threw it out thinking it must have expired by now :rolleyes:

I remember the 45-day letter. I think I received 2 of them after sending a snail mail letter to them. Those days are long gone.

I think in the past you might have had a choice from a few different items.....4 drinks coupons or a picture, etc. It seems the value was in the $20-$25 range

Found mine! Now to wait until just before 45 days and see what might come of it. I should get credit for hanging onto it for over ten years!:eek:

HA! I think the gift for you was a FREE CRUISE,,,,but unfortunately it sailed Nine Years ago. :eek:
