graygirl Posted April 9, 2015 #1 Share Posted April 9, 2015 We will be on the Elation in September and was wondering where I could find pool/water slide hours. I'm assuming they close at some point every evening...? Trying to get an idea of how to avoid the crowds.
graygirl Posted April 9, 2015 Author #2 Share Posted April 9, 2015 Sorry, meant to post this under Carnival threads as I'm sure ships and lines have different rules. Admin can move me. :)
MCC retired Posted April 9, 2015 #3 Share Posted April 9, 2015 Go early , Water gets raunchy in those pools & hot tubs on any ship as the day goes on. Sunscreen forms on the surface , and who knows what lies beneath.

zqvol Posted April 9, 2015 #5 Share Posted April 9, 2015 Go later in the day if you want smaller crowds. The pools are always busy early and until about 3:00 p.m. Don't worry about the water it is filtered just like in a public pool at home, and changed weekly. nickw Posted April 9, 2015 #6 Share Posted April 9, 2015 If you are a morning person, going to the pool at 8 or 9 am is awesome. Hardly anyone there at that point.
Bonnie J. Posted April 10, 2015 #7 Share Posted April 10, 2015 Check the Serenity deck. This is adults only & no smoking. Some ships have a pool here and most also have hot tubs. Few people in this pool in the morning, they come around noon when it gets hot. People start leaving here around 3pm. Most pools close around 8pm so before then is also a good time. The slides are open only when at sea, not when in port.
