SaraL Posted April 9, 2015 #1 Share Posted April 9, 2015 (edited) Well after taking a few years break from cruising we are EXCITED that we have booked a cruise in November of this year to the Western Caribbean (ports will be Roatan, Belize City and Cozumel) leaving out of Galveston. On this cruise we will have our two teenagers. What we want to know is what excursions to look into/book and which to avoid all together. Any and all suggestions will be taken to heart. Thank you for all your help, we appreciate it! Edited April 9, 2015 by SaraL
George C Posted April 9, 2015 #2 Share Posted April 9, 2015 We love the dolphin encounter in Rotan at Anthony key.
SaraL Posted April 9, 2015 Author #3 Share Posted April 9, 2015 Thank you for your quick reply. We swam with the dolphins in Cozumel a few years ago. Might do it again but also looking at other ideas.
39august Posted April 9, 2015 #4 Share Posted April 9, 2015 I suggest you check the Ports of Call boards for each of these ports. There is a ton of information about excursions for each port.
SaraL Posted April 9, 2015 Author #5 Share Posted April 9, 2015 Thank you for your reply, appreciate your response. Looking at the RC site was one of the first things we did before booking. What we're looking for is first hand reviews from people that have taken this cruise. Our kids are 16 and 13 if that helps any. I'm afraid our 16 yr old (who will be 17 when we cruise) is to heavy for Ziplines (he's 6'2" and 280 lbs) possibly? We're open to any and all suggestions!!! I think 39august was talking about the Ports of Call boards here on Cruise Critic. Plenty of first hand reviews and info http://boards.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?f=5 Edited April 9, 2015 by BamaGuy44
