camper49 Posted April 10, 2015 #1 Share Posted April 10, 2015 We have a $100 OBC on the Valor from booking on board while on our last cruise. Thinking of changing to the Sunshine Southern sailing. Will we lose the on board credit? I will call Carnival and ask but was wondering if anyone has done this.
Cruise-Crazy Posted April 10, 2015 #2 Share Posted April 10, 2015 I've never done that but I would guess you will loose the OBC.
geovet Posted April 10, 2015 #3 Share Posted April 10, 2015 No. You will keep the booking number and the OBC. Call your PVP for help.
rbis_steve Posted April 10, 2015 #4 Share Posted April 10, 2015 Agree, you will not lose it. I had to change cruises twice that had an original OBC. Still have it for the upcoming cruise.

stargate fan Posted April 10, 2015 #6 Share Posted April 10, 2015 (edited) We have a $100 OBC on the Valor from booking on board while on our last cruise. But if you booked Early Saver, you might lose $50 pp as a fee for the change. We purposely booked the shortest, cheapest, furthest away cruise using Past Guest rates on board with the full intention of doing research and waiting for the right sailing to book. Then we called our PVP, who transferred the booking number to that cruise. The obc amount adjusted to match the length of the new cruises. ($50 for the shortest, cheapest, furthest away cruise became $200 for the 13 day sailing) Edited April 10, 2015 by stargate fan

We just use it as a placeholder to get the OBC.
