lilybelle45 Posted April 10, 2015 #1 Share Posted April 10, 2015 Greetings all ! It's been a few years since we've sailed RCCL and don't remember if sodas are allowed to be brought on-board. We always bring a 12 pack of soda and case of water on Carnival but need current guidelines for RCCL. Many thanks in advance for responses!! Rules say no - however most people report no problem with bringing water and soda on board.
Rare mil76 Posted April 10, 2015 #4 Share Posted April 10, 2015 Last week on Navigator we bought a case of water, taped a luggage tag on it and gave it to the porter. It wasn't delivered until a couple hours after the rest of the luggage and had a naughty-room prohibited item tag on it (first time we had seen this), but it ended up at the stateroom. TBone2K Posted April 10, 2015 #5 Share Posted April 10, 2015 Yes, some good advice above. Carry on ensures the least issues, but then you are stuck carrying it. If you do check a case of water/soda don't put it in anything if you can avoid it, or there is a small risk of a trip to the naughty room since security won't open bags. And remember, the exception does not disprove the rule. Just because others got around the rules does not mean you will.
