Can we do Aix and Cassis in one day?

Would we be able to do both of these stops in one day? We are going to be in Marseille for 11 hours in June.

 

I know we can do Aix on our own but could we also add Cassis?

 

Any suggestions?

Yes. No problem at all. Go to Aix in the morning so you can also see the market. Go to Cassis in the afternoon. Have a late lunch by the sea and take the boat ride to see the Calanques. 11 hours is more than enough time for both.

I was wondering if anyone had any information on how to get from Aix to Cassis on your own?

 

We are ok on getting from Marsaille to Aix by train but not sure about the second half of our trip to Cassis.
