GrabMyWrist Posted April 14, 2015 #1 Share Posted April 14, 2015 (edited) Our Hawaii cruise for July 2017 has dropped by $2000.00. :D If you're booked to Hawaii, it may be worth taking a look. Plane tickets are paid for with the savings! Thanks NCL!!! Edited April 14, 2015 by GrabMyWrist Clarity

pizzalady1 Posted April 14, 2015 #3 Share Posted April 14, 2015 (edited) I also took advantage of the lowered price--going in December 2017. I have never seen a cruise drop so much so far out. None of my other cruises have a price drop. Wonder what was or is going on? Edited April 14, 2015 by pizzalady1
Marieux Posted April 14, 2015 #4 Share Posted April 14, 2015 My TA couldn't understand it either since the category we have (B2) was the only balcony category left. We lucked out, she said. :D

Rare mking8288 Posted April 15, 2015 #8 Share Posted April 15, 2015 Is NCL having trouble in filling up all the cabins with early booking ?? What happened then - with the All-In Promo & 50% Off Reduced Deposit, shouldn't have problems with a popular destination like Hawaii ... right :D Oh, airfares from the left (west) coast is often reasonable but for us on the right (east) coast - not so much. Maybe an airfare bundles ?? Gotta find some time to have a look myself to see what the bargain deals are all about, sound too good to be true, and, it usually is ... watchdiva Posted April 16, 2015 #10 Share Posted April 16, 2015 Watching POA but suite prices are consistent and have not dropped. $3299 pp for an AFT Suite seems pretty high to me.
Ilovesailing Posted April 16, 2015 #11 Share Posted April 16, 2015 (edited) In Oct 2010 we paid $2445 pp tax in ($4890) for an aft cabin Oct 2016 same cabin $5231 tax in. I think a 7% increase in six years is pretty decent, then throw in the dining pkg.*it's a steal. Edited April 16, 2015 by Ilovesailing

Ilovesailing Posted April 16, 2015 #13 Share Posted April 16, 2015 In Jan 2012 aft cabin we paid $7501 tax in for two Looking at Jan 2017 aft cabin is priced at $5378 tax in for the two of us and then throw in free specialty dining . Just unbelievable.

Just unbelievable. For some reason, the website will only let me see current prices. Can't scroll down to dates way in the future.. But, they will have to do better on prices than $5378 for a B1. Our B1 for August 2014 booked more than 18 months in advance was only $4,244 for two with all taxes and fees. Maybe we were just incredibly lucky.

Maybe we were just incredibly lucky. You have to remember that while its not officially called high season Jan is the start of it. Whale season starts late Dec. It's also interesting that Jan 2016 is the same price as 2017. But you are correct in booking way out and watch the price increase while you wait. We have seen our past Hawaii cruises increase $500/800 and $1000 in the past, so we'll see what happens. What I really like is the fact that there is no casino thus less smokers around and no more cigs and ashes coming down from above.
