Yes, you can.

The answer really is "probably" but with conditions. If your friends are in early or late seating, will there be room for you at their table?? They can't just switch to select dining.

 

If you want to dine with friends and you are in suite with access to michael's club...ask the concierge there to figure it out. If not, you are somewhat at the mercy of the maitre d' in the MDR or Luminae to help you and your guess is as good as mine how it will work out.

 

If your friends are in select dining it's much easier....just talk with the maitre d' in Luminae to set it up.

I believe it's once per cruise and the fee is $50(?) per guest....and it's on a space available basis whatever that means.

If you are in a suite, I believe your Butler will handle the liaison with the main DR Maitre'D.

I will be in a suite in August and the rest of our family will not be in a suite.I just got the reservations linked and I set up select dining in the MDR for all of us at a certain time each night. I had no trouble doing that.
