Jewel to Alaska

Recommended Posts

Hi y'all,

Was told that RCCL discontinued the Bottle-of-Wine-at Dinner package Jan 1, 2015.... :( However, I read somewhere recently that one could get a free glass of wine at dinner.... :D Also, we can bring aboard 2 bottles of wine to be consumed in the cabin.... :)

Can anyone please confirm?

Thanks!

Grandy.

Have not heard about any free glass of wine with dinner.

However, you are entitled to bring onboard two bottles of wine per stateroom (no matter how may occupants), each no larger than 750ml. No corkage fees no matter where you bring the wine on the ship.

As Emerald members DH and I each get a buy one, get one beer or wine on our sea pass. I am not sure what the benefits are for other levels. Maybe these are the "free" glasses of wine? The two bottles of wine you bring on board can be consumed anywhere if you carry them in. I understand that the corkage fee has been waived, so you can bring the bottles of wine to the dining room to be be uncorked.

Are you not going to Alaska, to see Alaska ?

Surley its not a breaking point if there is no "free" wine.
