In the image, on the upper deck, the area on the right with the chairs that have the black cushions, is part of the Haven. The area to the left with the blue chairs is the adults only Vibe area.

I know that Vibe access is via wristbands. Does the Haven have wristbands too? If not how is access granted to the Haven?

No, no wristbands. You enter thru a locked door which your card key will open. There is an entrance, a special door , on deck 15 and 16 on GA and BA. To get to the sundeck that you are viewing, one must walk up a set of lovely stairs located within the Haven complex itself

We have read stories of people jumping the fence, so to speak, from Vibe, but I have never seen this.

I'd be pretty PO d if I spent my Haven $$ and had to wear a wristband.

Yuck. I hate wristbands.

Access is granted on BA and GA by booking a Haven room whether it is in the Haven proper or on another deck. To get to that area you have to swipe your key card to get into a door on 15 or 16 (to get to 16) and then walk up one of two sets of stairs to that area you reference on the right - no wrist bands.

The main entrance to The Haven takes you right past the Haven concierge. He/She is pretty good about memorizing the people that belong in there, and will offer a polite "may I help you?" to anyone that doesn't look like a Haven guest.

I have a friend that accidentally "tailgated" through the main door in to The Haven when exploring the ship. She didn't realize she was walking in to The Haven, and only was able to get in by just walking quickly in behind a real Haven guest who had unlocked the door. My friend didn't get past the Concierge.

When flying and using one of the airline clubs and you encounter one of these

concierge people the nomenclature is a "DRAGON" guarding the gate !

They don't eat purple people but sure will burn your behinder if you are not

the customer you should be to be there.

Sorry for your friend "BUT" good that NCL is monitoring the access to the Haven.

Spending that kind of money for those accommodations I sure would not like

a Titanic 4th class passenger invading this space unescorted.
