Dawn Laundry Detergent?

Hi! I am going on the 10 day Eastern Caribbean on the Dawn 10/9/05. I know the Dawn has a few laundry rooms, but do they have laundry detergent on board? Where do you get it?

 

I tried looking for those laundry detergent tablets (only at Target and Wegman's) and could not find them? Are they sold anymore? Or, only at certain stores?

They sell laundry detergent 1.00.

BTW-the washers & dryers are free-you only have to pay for the soap

yea, they are free...

 

so if you bring your own soap it would really be free... otherwise i think its $1.00 for a small package of soap.

measure out your powdered detergent from home and pack in small ziplock bags. The bags fit well in a pair of shoes when packing....

They are located midship on every floor. You will see it on the deckplan.

There is 2 ironingboards and 4 washingmashines and 4 tumbledryers.

 

We were on the ship on the august 28 cruise:) and everything was in exellent condition.

Hey, you're on vacation -- don't do laundry! There are two nights when they have the "all you can stuff in a bag for $20" deal -- do take advantage, it's wonderful! Your clothes come back in a basket, all folded and pressed. Shirts and pants/skirts come on hangers, also all pressed! It's a wonderful thing to do, if you're like me, and laundry is the LAST thing I want to do! :D

I don't know anything about the laundry - but I do know that I just booked this same cruise for October 9th!!! Less than a month away - can't wait!!!

Does anyone know if there are laundry rooms on the Crown?..Plan to take advantage of the "all you can stuff in a bag", but like to Press some of my good clothes & not send them out..If not, just will take my steamer & "Wrinkle Remover Spray" (which my DH thought was for my wrinkles-LOL):(
