Fredric22 Posted April 28, 2015 #1 Share Posted April 28, 2015 I just logged into my cruise planner, and saw that the premium package is now $70 per person, per day for our Solstice 11 night Alaska cruise on Sept. 11, 2015. Did the price change because it is a longer cruise? I have the classic package already included in the reservation. Will I now have to pay $15 per day to upgrade? Rare ghstudio Posted April 28, 2015 #2 Share Posted April 28, 2015 There is a long thread on this topic...and the web page is wrong. Yes, the price of both classic and premium drink packages has increased...to $55 and $65 plus 18% gratuity. Currently the classic package is shown correctly on the web site as $55 and the premium package is shown as $69.62 which is the old $59 plus 18% gratuity...but even that's wrong because it says $69.62 PLUS gratuity. So much for the web site giving useful information. However....if you have the classic package, it will cost you $10 plus 18% to upgrade either before or on your cruise. That has been verified by celebrity and folks now on board ships.
Fredric22 Posted April 28, 2015 Author #3 Share Posted April 28, 2015 Thanks for the quick answer! I just thought it was strange because it was showing something different for my Summit Bermuda cruise in a few weeks. Their website is awful...
