Don't mean to be rude, but we like quiet cruises. Labor Day is late that year so this 9 day Journeys cruise will end before Labor Day. Maybe we should cruise on the Vista out of NY in Nov. 2016.

Well, the 8/26 cruise might not be too bad...just thinking logically, the school year will have just started, and parents usually wouldn't pull kids out of school for vacation right as the kids are getting settled into their new grade.

The cruise starts on 8/25/2016. Many schools in NJ and NY start school after Labor Day, which would be 9/5/2016. The only thing that might impact the number of children might be the length of the 9 day cruise.

We plan to go on family vacation within a day or two of your date next year. We live in NJ. School starts up here after labor day.

 

Maybe November will be better, but not around Thanksgiving.

Here in Ontario the schools start the day after labour day. Also the two weeks before labour day are the biggest vacation times.

Sunshine is a kid friendly ship. Huge waterpark plus a lot of other kids activities.

Schools generally start in GA the second week in August. Many other states also. Just depends on where the guests reside. EM

Florida will have already started so will Missouri and Texas.

 

I would pick mid September if want fewest kids

SC starts back to school mid-August as well.
