credit card for sign & sail card

DH has an American Express card that he's had for many years; it's only in his name (don't worry -- all the other cards are in MY name! :p ) If we use the AMEX card as the basis for our sign and sail cards, does that mean I won't be able to sign for drinks, etc.? (in other words, because my name is not on the credit card) Or should we use a credit card that has both our names on the account?? Thanks! Kellie in Texas

Not a problem. When you check in they will take your DH's card. You will both be given accounts and each will be able to charge on the ship. The one card will be used to settle both of these accounts prior to disembarkation.:)

BigTimeCruiser is correct. We used my Visa card (only in my name) last year and had no problems. Have fun cruising. We're only a couple of weeks after you.

Don't worry, we've used my husband's AMEX card for all 6 of our cruises and have never had a problem for either myself or the kids cabin signing on it. Your husband will sign the authorization for the card and that's all that matters.
