shallwe Posted May 2, 2015 #1 Share Posted May 2, 2015 I've just gone onto the cruise page for my December cruise on Britannia (B527 - http://www.pocruises.com/b527/?search=true) and have noticed that the inside cabins have gone up drastically and now match the the price for a balcony. Now, if I was looking to book, which would I go for? Answers on a postcard please - NOT!
john watson Posted May 2, 2015 #2 Share Posted May 2, 2015 A marketing strategy to make people think "balconies are cheap" and book one; not to make you think inside cabins are expensive and not book one. Lol John
majortom10 Posted May 2, 2015 #3 Share Posted May 2, 2015 (edited) It is indeed a "marketing strategy" so when people book the balcony thinking that they have got a "bargain" and then see at a later stage inside cabins for a fraction of the price they will realise they have been "conned" in to booking a balcony.
