Hello,

Well.. I was just sent from a friend some really good deals on an Italy cruise in August. Here is is the itinerary:

Rome (Civitavecchia), Italy — 6:00 pm

Sicily (Palermo), Italy 10:00 am 6:00 pm

Salerno, Italy 7:00 am 7:00 pm

At Sea — —

Florence/Pisa (Livorno), Italy 7:00 am 7:00 pm

Genoa, Italy 7:00 am 6:00 pm

Toulon, France 7:00 am 4:00 pm

Barcelona, Spain

We wold fly into Rome two days ahead and then leave from Spain.

First, do i have enough time to get shore excursions,

then is this a good direction to take or could someone suggest an itinerary??

This will be our first cruise to Europe.

THanks for the info.. Yall have never let me down.

paula

Personally, I wouldn't want to do that itinerary in August. Not only will everywhere be extremely busy, but it will be very hot with the possibility of temps up to 50C. I don't take overpriced ship excursions as I don't like being overcharged and I don't want to be herded around with 50 other people. There is plenty of time to research the places to book either with a local tour operator, public transport or HOHO buses.
