wolfganghowell Posted May 6, 2015 #51 Share Posted May 6, 2015 Thank you OP for sharing the resolution with us. Very glad you are satisfied with the resolution and it gives you tremendous credibility that you took some responsibility as well. Hope you have a great cruise. NightOne Posted May 7, 2015 #53 Share Posted May 7, 2015 I am the OP. Royal Caribbean did not give us what we wanted which was the promised promotion for which we booked on board. So all of this was over a promo. OK, without other specfics I will guess this was a money issue. Would you care to share the amount of money in question? (per person) If not, understood. NightOne Posted May 7, 2015 #54 Share Posted May 7, 2015 Well Nightone - you got your answer. Happy now? Sure. In a non-specific kind of way. :)
NightOne Posted May 7, 2015 #55 Share Posted May 7, 2015 Wow, it has been 2 1/2 hours and Nightone has not come back to comment on OP's comment. Do you antagonize people in person too or do you just act like a jerk on the internet?
Cuizer2 Posted May 7, 2015 #56 Share Posted May 7, 2015 Personally I have never had any problem with them. Of course you are entitled to your opinion. Unfortunately, the bar for some people with customer service is that it is poor if they do not get what they want. Thus far the OP has very little to say after being given what they wanted which is a pretty common theme among those that complain about customer service. (in my opinion) :) Do you antagonize people in person too or do you just act like a jerk on the internet? What is the matter, can't handle a little of your own medicine? And yes, I do it in person too. Just ask the people I work with.
cruzin lady Posted May 7, 2015 #57 Share Posted May 7, 2015 If one books onboard and receives onboard credit, the reservation can be transferred to a TA, and obc kept by using the booking number used onboard. Also, we booked a, B2B on Navigator about a month ago, transferred the original booking number to a TA, and yesterday we got discounts from the May Sale, still with the original booking number. :)

I will be sure to do that next time I run into them. :)
