Kenai Fjords Cruise and Airport Transfer

Hello,

 

We are looking at taking Celebrity's 12.5 hour Seward tour which includes a 5 hour Kenai Fjords cruise with lunch, the Sealife Center, and bus transfer to the airport. Our flight is at 11:25pm.

 

Is there some way to do a similar tour but with a train transfer to Anchorage? I have heard that the train ride is beautiful. I'm concerned that trying to do it that way might be too rushy, a logistical nightmare with luggage, and may cause us to miss our flight if anything were to go wrong during the day.

 

Does anyone have experience with doing this either way?

Sorry, you can not do a regular train transfer with your flight time. Another problem with this tour selection- is, it is NOT enough time on the boat tour, you need at least 6 hours on the water. Take a look at the route maps, a 5 hour tour- is only considered a bay tour. Simply does not get as far.

 

You can also easily book yourself on a Kenai Fjords boat tour- then you would have to take a bus to Anchorage, keeping in mind, you need a 2 hour window at the airport.
