Booking engines..what do you think

wandering if booking engines are safe...

looking for hotel...booking engines i have looked are

 

BOOKING.COM

EXPEDIA.COM

HOTELS.COM

TRIVAGO.COM

TRAVELOCITY.COM

 

ONES LIKE THESE,,HAVE YOU BOOKED WITH THEM ...AND WHAT WAS THE OUT COME OF IT..GOOD OR BAD

I use them all the time - no problems. With the blind sites (Priceline, etc.) you usually do not earn hotel points if that matters to you. Compare prices from the sites you've listed - or try Kayak dot com - with the hotel web site and go with the best deal. If price/room is tied or very close I usually book directly with the hotel to avoid any issues.

I've used all of those except Trivago and I've used lots of others too.

 

Including LMT, Priceline, Hotwire, and still some.

 

I've had no serious problems, once I got a very ordinary hotel with Hotwire but everything else has been good to exceptional.

I have used them many times. Never had a problem. I always check the hotel website to compare prices. Sometimes I can get a cheaper rate because I belong to that particular hotels frequent stay program

And don't forget to call the hotel a few days after booking and get a hotel confirmation number. Sometimes it take a few days to get into the hotel computer system depending on the site you use.
