If one is in a QE Q6 cabin can one obtain a full breakfast from room service (butler) or is the offering only like that shown in all of the brochures. OJ, Coffee and a pastry?

Also if a full breakfast is available in as much as most of the Q6 cabins are closer to the Britannia DR than the Queens Grill DR, where do you think the food comes from?

You can order off the full Grills breakfast menu in suite. Your butler will deliver it and set up a table with table cloth and silver wear.

The food comes from the Grills galley.

What is the usual gratuity to the butler serving breakfast?

Normally room service is part of the "standard" perks of cruising. Tipping is optional, as they share in the auto pool. You may additinally tip the butler at the end of your cruise. That's what we've done.

Please don't take this the wrong way ;) but please ! please! don't start tipping the Butler each time they bring room service. This is what Auto Gratuities are all about. Stateroom service is all part of the product on Cunard, whatever category one chooses to travel in.

Leave Auto Grats on and if at the end of your voyage any crew member has gone that extra mile, then offer a little rolled up paper money in their had as you shake on departure ......No need for 'handing out envelopes and making a big fuss' that so many folk do these days. :)
