Wifi in Nassau

Two questions:

1) Does anyone have suggestions on the best places to connect to wifi in Nassau (like a coffee shop, etc.) and how to get there? Any good/bad experiences?

2) Any ideas on where to find a good map of Nassau? We're sailing Enchantment in July and I'd like to have a simple map to print out and take with me as we plan to walk around ourselves.

Thanks!

When I was in Nassau we hopped the jitney bus for a buck fifty to Arawack Cay/Fish Fry for lunch, and had a steady free wifi connection at one of the lunch spots there. Hung out for a few hours, had fantastic conch salad, grilled lobster and daqueris.

We've had good luck with WiFi at Starbucks. However, with any of these island places, we have learned to ask if the WiFi is working before making a purchase.

There are numerous knooks with coffee shops all within walking distance of the ships. Also, a couple of Starbucks which are easy to find. You can google walking maps and you'll have lots of options.

However, many enclosed coffee & cigar shops generally cater to men. It just customary. :)

Once on the ship, ask crew members. Bartenders, etc. always know the current places and are a wonderful source of information for this sort of thing. :)
