We sailed recently on the Conquest and went to the Alchemy Bar on the first day prior to dinner. We had two drinks, a Deal Closer and Mojito Martini, my total for two drinks was $24.08. A martini and blue Margarita ordered in the Renoir restaurant with dinner was $20.93. The same two drinks ordered at the Casino bar was $18.63. We never went back to the Alchemy bar.

So the drink package will not work for the drinks there?

We just got off the Victory - last Monday - drinks that the Alchemy Bar were $9.95 and most definitely included in the Cheers package!

The prices went from $8.95 to $9.95 with the most recent bar increases that were fleet wide.

EVERYTHING we had was wonderful. Wish it had been a longer cruise so we could have tried some more! ;)

Thank you!

The Remedy looks what I need just about now.

long story, but ended up in hospital emergency room yesterday, for something that could have been dealt with elsewhere, but my cities "walk in " clinics were all closed (long weekend here in Canada too) I get the long weekend and the reasons for it, but why have a walk in clinic that closes for three days, or the two who turned me away with blood running down my arm, but directs me to the big hospital, and makes me spend 8 hrs in an emergency room for a fairly minor procedure (stitches):rolleyes::rolleyes: I would love one of those remedies right about now!!!! maybe two of them will work. I am still p/o'd about the running around I did yesterday, trying to avoid my local hospital emergency room. but...i finally got what I needed, stitches, finger, hand sewn back up and a big old dressing, making my hand functionally disfunctional for my work..had to book off work. not a good thing for me. I need one or two or three of those remedies right now

YIKES...hope things are brighter today!

The Remedy is not one we tried....but I can vouch for the Curative Peach Cosmo, Forty is the New Twenty, Deal Closer and the Caribbean Manhattan.

Then she started making things based on our requests once I mentioned I usually drink Lemon Drops....they were FANTASTIC. She also made our friends and DH things that were spicy, sparkling, sweet, tart....whatever we asked for. Then one night - after dinner - she asked if DH liked coffee and she made one (again....not on the menu) that was perhaps the best thing we had all week!

"Making up" your cocktail was definitely part of the fun and they always embraced the challenge. She always came back to see if you liked it and "fixed" it if you didn't! ;)

Truly a great place to enjoy the art of making and enjoying a good martini along with great conversation!
