Loyalty levels

You cannot combine points. Each has its own loyalty program. You would have to join Celebrity's program. They do recognize each other's programs, however. Once you reach platinum on RC, Celebrity would recognize you (they have different names for their loyalty levels, but you would be given reciprocal benefits).

no. they extend equivalent STATUS but not points.

points are only earned by sailing on the specific line's ships.

We became Diamond on our first RC cruise because of our Elite status on X. No point exchange tho.

We would add that the equivalent status is only extended up to the Diamond (RCI) /Elite (Celebrity) levels. Diamond Plus and Elite Plus only get the Diamond/Elite status on the other line.
