New Hotel Recommendation Needed

Coming into New York on Sept 5th....alone. Meeting family the next day and leaving out of New on the Splendor.

 

Can anyone recommend a hotel near the port that's reasonable ( for NY ) and close to the port. Won't have time to sight see so locations near restaurants, subway etc. is not important. Will be in late on the 5th....out early on the 6th.

 

Just want clean, close and safe.

What's your budget? How are you arriving in NYC? What airport? Bus? train?

If you require a reasonable and decent hotel, consider Ink48

Ink48 is fine, but it's $415 tax included for the OP's date.

I was looking for a hotel that someone had actually stayed at. I saw the Ink48 Hotel.....but really don't want to spend over $400 for basically a place to sleep.

 

I'm coming in on Amtrak, Penn Station....will arrive about 6 pm. and be out by 11 am the next morning.

So what do you want to spend? Have you considered getting off Amtrak in either Newark or Stamford and getting a much much less expensive hotel?

I've stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Madison Square Garden. Hotel is 2 blocks from Penn Station. If the price fits your needs then I'd stay there.

We usually stay at a level above, but have you looked on LMT Club's site?
