Jitney 10 to melia - is it safe?

Good evening :)

My son (10) and I (mom) will be on the Sunshine by ourselves in July. Two years ago on RCL we went to the Sheraton, but it was 6 of us, with 4 adults and 2 children, and we had a lot of fun and loved the beach.

 

I would like to take my son back there, but again, it's just us this time. Are we safe going by ourselves? Our roll call is pretty inactive too, so I don't know what others plans are.

Of course!! We love the #10 bus, have taken it many times. No worry, just hop on and enjoy!

We took the Jitney #10 bus to Melia back in November. I had directions, but my internal GPS doesn't function too well most of the time :p and we went off the "regular" route that we were instructed to go (which was the main street and then cut over). We had 4 adults and 3 kids. We had no problems or encounters, but it did feel a "little" off to me for some reason. Coming back wasn't an issue. I think it might have just been my nerves of not knowing where I'm going. :p

 

(I do have to add on the way back it got "interesting" when a guy got on, sat up front with the bus driver, got off at a stop, the bus driver went flying down a back alley...flying and hitting bumps, then the guy jumped back on while it was moving...and handed the bus driver "something")

We like to take a van cab to the Melia. Just our preference. (Have also taken bus.)
