Carnival Hub App and Social Plan

Just off the Breeze a couple weeks ago and loved the new app! I purchased the Chat and Social package and my husband had just the Chat option (not into social media;) Couple of thing I did notice is I could not be logged in on two devices at once (my iPhone and iPad), Facebook was slow but still was able to post photos and such, chat was instant which is super nice, must have app up in background at all times in order for it to run, notifies you 10 minutes before any activity you "star" that you would like to attend got the day, no menus listed (still on TV), ant news links that you would try to go on via Facebook it would ask if you wanted to upgrade to internet package, we all have iPhones but some with Andriods did have a few problems with the app working correctly, iMessage back home worked great to family and friends and we were able to send photos.

Can't wait to use it again in September;)

You guys answered my question, thanks!! I was wondering if the social media package allowed pictures to be posted to Facebook. But I have another question. Social Media package allows use of iMessage on iPhones? Thanks a bunch!!

I was able to use my iMessage on my iPhone with the social package on the Ecstasy :)

Yes! My whole family has iPhones so I could just text them at home like normal.

We used the $25 Social Media Package on Sunshine in January. It was fantastic!!! I hope Dream has it.

I am so confused about this App. All I get when I search the App Store is the CruiseMate one and I don't think that's it. But nothing other than that and casino ones come up when searching Carnival Cruise...or any variation thereof. Help?!

I see it when I type "Carnival Cruise" or "Carnival Hub".

 

Are you searching on an iPad? Make sure you're not searching iPad only apps.

I just searched it on my iphone and found one that says Carnival Hub but in parenthesis it reads (available only on Breeze). Wonder if this app can be used on all ships and they just haven't updated the description in the name?

Any way to see chat messages after the cruise has ended?

I had promised to share pics with someone who had sent me their email address via the chat, but now that I'm off the cruise I cannot find their email address since I can't find how to open the chat.

If you haven't "logged out" of the app yet, and have an iphone, I have gotten back into the app by double click on home button, swipe up to close the app, then click on the app to open it again. I got off my last cruise almost 2 months ago and can still go into the app. Some of the info that was showing I cannot necessarily still access, but I can still access the chat history.
