Port Canaveral is a large area. Exactly where are you walking from?

Jetty Park has a long, gorgeous beach and is right at Port Canaveral on the south side. You will pass it as you come and go through the port channel.

Very easily within walking distance. We stayed at the campground at Jetty Park last week and loved watching the cruise ships from the long pier

between the channel and the beach.

From the port, walk along Glen Creek Dr to the beach.

There are lots of restaurants along the way as well.
