darbytx Posted May 28, 2015 #1 Share Posted May 28, 2015 I was considering getting an underwater camera for the trip but then I came across the Watershot cases for iphone. Does anyone have any experience with these or another brand to recommend? Just want to use it for cave tubing and other excursions, no real diving. Safety first! pjchow Posted May 28, 2015 #5 Share Posted May 28, 2015 Oops forgot to say I am interested in I Phone waterproof lanyard type cases. Cruisers had them on excursions.
Sauer-kraut Posted May 28, 2015 #6 Share Posted May 28, 2015 Go with the waterproof disposable!! That way you won't be out an arm and a leg if it gets lost, most likely WON'T get stolen and you have peace of mind. Seriously I wouldn't bring my cell phone off the ship on an excursion. Putterdude Posted May 29, 2015 #8 Share Posted May 29, 2015 You are very welcome. By the way I have tried using disposable waterproof cameras for snorkeling and they just don't work...the viewing area is just to small to compose a photo. I have been using a Canon underwater camera for the past 5 years and even with that I probably take 10 to 12 pictures for one that is worth editing and keeping.
