Conquest vs Sunshine

There are two near identical 8 day cruises on these two ships in August. Need help deciding. I have been on conquest twice already, and for that reason I would like to see the Sunshine... but then I see the terrible Sunshine reviews.

 

If the bad thing on Sunshine is the crowds... then probably August means its a bad choice.

 

Just wanted some confirmation from anyone that has been on both.

I've been on Conquest twice and Sunshine once. I loved both but I perfer the Sunshine because there is more to do. I am going to book a seven day for January on her tomorrow before she heads to New York.

It depends on what you want in a cruise. If crowds, difficulty getting a deck chair, & a theater & comedy club that are way too small don't bother you, then Sunshine might be a better choice for you. If you want great waterslides, ropes course, and a waterfall in the serenity area, then Sunshine would be the choice. But if you don't care for those things nor do you want to deal with those negatives I mentioned, then go with Conquest.

I was on Sunshine last year and just got off the Conquest - other than the size of the comedy club being smaller on Sunshine - we preferred it over Conquest. More to do, better serenity area - better location of alchemy bar...if the ITN is the same - I'd go with Sunshine.
