Pride 5/24 REVIEW

Day 2 was a sea day. We went to the dining room for brunch and then relaxed all day on the Sun Deck (10) I love it up there because you are just far enough away from the hustle and bustle but still can enjoy a faint sound of the music playing from Deck 9 Lido. I love a warm wind blowing as well!

I did not see a lot of chair hogs this cruise. I think people are really getting this. I would like to clarify chair hog...I don't think it is a bad thing if you are saving chairs for people in your group that you know will be there to enjoy laying in the sun together. It was hard for us to find 7 chairs together! So when we found them we did save them but we knew we were all going to be there within the hour. IS this chair hogging? I don't think so..I feel chair hogging is when you go and put your things on a chair early in the morning and then come back a few hours later...right??

Of course we enjoyed the Guy's Burgers today and some of us really enjoyed the tacos from the Blue Iguana. A few drinks and we were all good to go for the day!

We all dressed in our Sunday best...well maybe a little fancier and headed to the Alchemy Bar. We had drinks here every night before dinner....Loved this part of our cruise. Michele was our bartender and she was AWESOME! Thank you Michele! I had the Cucumber Melon Sunrise made with fresh watermelon and cucumbers every night and everyone else had a margarita made with fresh limes.. It was so refreshing and delicious!

We enjoyed our dinner and Ken... Mr. Sinatra ...He is incredible! I thanked him every night because he is truly talented.

Our waiter told us to order just the lobster because it comes a little larger than the ones you get with the filet. He said you can have steak any day on the cruise but only one night of lobster. He ordered us all 2...He was great Thanks Desa!:):)

After Dinner we went to the show (88 Keys) which was good and then to the Red Frog Pub. This was a great place to hang out and listen to great music..live band. (name escapes me).

Really enjoying your review. I sailed the Pride in September of 12 as a girls getaway and we enjoyed going out of Baltimore. I am going with hubby this October for his birthday and cannot wait to see the 2.0 upgrades. I agree that the shows are not always the best and we will pick and choose. Looking forward to trying David's this time.

Thank you. I enjoyed the upgrades on the Pride. I have not tried David's ....saving that for a cruise with my husband as well. We did the Chef's table last year and it was the best! Have a great time. I will try to put up all the information I brought home with me. (fun times, spa news, general news...etc.) Hopefully the review will be part of your excitement of the upcoming cruise. I can't compete with Jamman or mitsygirl but I read thier reviews a few times for my excitement building pleasure..... SHOUT OUT TO THEM...they were great!:)

Over all I thought this was a great ship, great crew...except for the guy at Guys Burgers who I overheard complaining about how many people were in line and said "these people never quit". :( Hello...we are on vacation!

We had a great time in the dining room and around the ship. People were friendly and weather was great! Bar tenders were all great and friendly and i got to know somethings about their personal lives as well. I really think it is important to interact with the crew ..you learn a lot!

Cruise director...was a little corny...but he was very nice.

Great ship...clean and fun!

Definetly will sail her again...and again...and again.

I hope you all enjoy her as much as we did!:):):):)
