Wine stores in Galveston

We are on a back-to-back cruise in November and want to take a taxi from the port to Spec's for more wine for second leg. Is this possible, and if so, how much would be the taxi fare run? Thanks

Hmmm....just a guesstimate of $40.00 for the taxi; but I gotta ask you a question. If you buy a bunch of wine on the first leg of your journey - will it all be delivered to your room on the last night (like your normal cruise) so you could use it on the second leg?

Thanks for the help. We would bring extra wine on the first cruise if we could, unfortunately we are flying to New Jersey for the cruise out of Port Liberty. After much research, we will only be able to pick up some wine at Newark airport!! Too expensive to hire a taxi and try to find a liquor store there.

A pre-cruise luncheon sounds great! We are coming to Houston in July. How about then? We are going to be there Tuesday July 14th, so not so convenient if everyone wants to do weekends. We are coming to MD Anderson for further tests with Cardiologist. They want to make sure Bill's ticker is OK. He has a clean bill of health from his oncologist[emoji3]. We will be through by 5 pm anyway.
