doges-secret tour Venice

I'd like to do the secret tour of the Doges. How do you go about booking it?

Is it possible just to show up at the Doges, say a half hour before the tour, and buy the tickets? Or maybe buy them the day before?

We could go on Friday or Saturday; we'd be doing the tour in French, preferably, but it would be Ok in English, too.

TIA

It's vary easy to book it online: http://palazzoducale.visitmuve.it/en/pianifica-la-tua-visita/secretitineraries/ I will tell you, having done it, that it is not for the claustrophobic or anyone who has mobility problems, but it's fascinating. My wife and I were in Venice for a week in early May this year on a land tour, and the city was already packed with tourists; we would not have been able to do this unless we had booked it in advance.

We also booked in advance last year and so when we got there it was a smooth and quick process. They check your tickets and then you await your guide in the courtyard, there are about 10 in the group. Interesting tour, quite unique.
