nsullivan Posted June 16, 2015 #1 Share Posted June 16, 2015 Let me begin this by saying I am an obsessive planner. I really shouldn't have booked a cruise so far away because now I have 293 days to do nothing but plan. So I am dying to do the Behind the Fun tour. I know you can only book this once you get on the ship. My question is, if we go straight to the Excursion desk once we are on the ship, is there a good chance we will be able to book this? Has anyone ever gotten on the ship and the line is already a million people long? I plan to book FTTF so I don't know if that will help me or not. Rare trippingpara Posted June 16, 2015 #2 Share Posted June 16, 2015 We just did FTTF for the Liberty, boarded immediately after priority and went straight to the Shore Excursions Desk. There was a line (looked really long but was really two groups of families) and had no problem at all getting tickets for the Behind the Fun tour. Loved it! I am writing my review now and it will go into detail about the tour.
nsullivan Posted June 16, 2015 Author #3 Share Posted June 16, 2015 Awesome. Thank you! That's what I'm hoping for. I walk a lot faster than my husband so he might get left behind while I'm trying to find the desk.
Rare CruisinCrow Posted June 16, 2015 #4 Share Posted June 16, 2015 We signed up for this tour twice. Both times we went to the Excursion Desk when we got on board (we did not have FTTF either time) and got our tickets with no problems. The first time was on Sensation and the tour ended up being cancelled because we were the only ones who signed up! I really don't think you need to worry too much about rushing on board to book. vwrestler171 Posted June 16, 2015 #7 Share Posted June 16, 2015 Went to excursion desk on every cruise as soon as we got onboard and never had an issue.

Lerin Posted June 17, 2015 #9 Share Posted June 17, 2015 We didn't even sign up until the 2nd or 3rd day of our cruise and got tickets for the tour.

JimAOk1945 Posted June 17, 2015 #11 Share Posted June 17, 2015 We were on a Behind The Fun tour on the Conquest. It was very enjoyable!
Eeyore_Lover Posted June 17, 2015 #12 Share Posted June 17, 2015 I first did Behind the Fun on the Breeze, so when I did it on the Glory, it was a let down. Still fun, but not quite as special.
Ahsndpro Posted June 17, 2015 #13 Share Posted June 17, 2015 We did the tour on the Miracle and didn't book it until a few days into the tour. If you go right to the excursion desk, you should be fine.
