I'm usually for a beer or wine, but when on the ship I like to try the drink of the day. I've never gone wrong with that. And they sure are fruity.

Found a new one on our Pride cruise last month. Caribbean Colada. For some reason, I wasn't a fan of their pinas but the Caribbean was AWESOME. Only problem was it was only made/served in 3 bars. :( Got the recipe and I plan to make a batch next weekend! ;)

What's in it?

2 oz rum

3 oz pineapple juice

1/2 oz coconut cream (NOT cream of coconut! I found coco cream in my local A&P in the Asian aisle-actually cheaper than C of C!)

4 dashes Aromatic bitters

pinch salt

Put in blender with ice and pulse.

I have not done this yet, tho have all ingredients. It was SO good on the ship!

Idk if they are served onboard but I really loved the BBC drink found at Magen's Bay in St. Thomas. If I am not mistaken it is some sort of banana colada
