Mim Lloyd Posted June 21, 2015 #1 Share Posted June 21, 2015 I'm on the Explorer next month, sailing on the Med. I have the Select drinks package and wonder if I should upgrade to the Premium. My favourite wine is Cava or Prosecco and I'm quite happy to drink a lot of it when on holiday! Does anyone know how much it is per glass? I'm assuming the cost of it will be in excess to what the Select limit is. If I have to put a couple of dollars per glass towards it, it will probably be worth upgrading as I can then have the odd cocktail or two and bottled water. lawgirl Posted June 21, 2015 #3 Share Posted June 21, 2015 Wine list: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showpost.php?p=46082438&postcount=1 Sorry, I posted to the older thread... I think these are the prices before the April timeframe. The prices all went up substantially I believe?
Clarea Posted June 21, 2015 #4 Share Posted June 21, 2015 Sorry, I posted to the older thread... I think these are the prices before the April timeframe. The prices all went up substantially I believe? Not sure, my experience has been that the wine prices did not go up substantially. The dramatic jump occurred with cocktail prices. Mim Lloyd Posted June 21, 2015 Author #5 Share Posted June 21, 2015 Thanks for the link. Looking at it, it's not too bad price wise for sparkling wine - if those prices are still correct. There's been lots of threads of the dramatic price increases for alcohol.
RadioRob Posted June 21, 2015 #6 Share Posted June 21, 2015 I've seen some folk complain, but I've not seen it myself. Everyone has to have SOMETHING to complain about. It would not be cruise critic otherwise. :)
chris_kelowna Posted June 22, 2015 #7 Share Posted June 22, 2015 (edited) I'm happy to know the wine prices are still quite reasonable! I may have a cocktail every now and then but wine with dinner is essential - on a cruise at least :) I feel better now! Mim Lloyd Posted June 22, 2015 Author #9 Share Posted June 22, 2015 My favorite sparkling, Martini and Rossi Asti Spumonte has been removed!:( Martini Asti Spumante is not my cup of tea - it's far too sweet for me, which is a pity as I've got 3 bottles of it given to me as presents. It's a pity you're not closer, you could have had them! lol
