MorganTravel Posted June 22, 2015 #1 Share Posted June 22, 2015 Does anyone know what the drinking age is on the MSC Divina during a European itinerary?
pinkpanther52 Posted June 22, 2015 #2 Share Posted June 22, 2015 As the drinking age in most European countries is 18 I would guess it would be 18.
Rare Beamafar Posted June 22, 2015 #3 Share Posted June 22, 2015 It's over 18s on European sailings.
AmoMondo Posted June 22, 2015 #4 Share Posted June 22, 2015 It is 18 and over every where except on the sailings out of the US when they increase it to 21 and over.

LP Dad Posted July 4, 2015 #6 Share Posted July 4, 2015 It may be officially 18, but under-18s will not be carded or refused if ordering alcohol with a parent present. Not saying how I know that.

Not saying how I know that. The rules are there for a reason. Firstly legality and your comment not saying how you know means you know it is wrong and you don't condone it? So you obviously agree with it. Beggars belief Sent from my iPad using Forums
Rare Beamafar Posted August 25, 2018 #8 Share Posted August 25, 2018 So, you were happy to have your under 18-year-old drinking alcohol, then? A 15-year-old Irish girl drowned when she fell from a cruise ship a few years back - alcohol being a major contributory factor. Just think yourself lucky that you weren't responsible for the same happening to your child with your ridiculous lack of responsibility. You seem to think it was oh, so clever, to fool the crew into serving alcohol to your child because they were with one of their parents.

Given current legal environment in the US doing this on a cruise in Europe makes a lot of sense.
