Mark-Sheffield Posted June 23, 2015 #1 Share Posted June 23, 2015 We have always used the cruise company we have been with and booked with them, usually pre-booked before we depart. However, we have come across a company called Cruising Excursions.com and they are members of trade associations across the globe. My question is : Has any cruise critic members used this company in the Med and what was there experience compared to the cruise company excursion ? cherylandtk Posted June 23, 2015 #2 Share Posted June 23, 2015 (edited) You will have much better responses if you post this tour guide inquiry in the specific ports of call forum for the ports you are interested in. The site you mention is essentially a broker or booking agent for a collection of different, usually smaller, tour companies. You will usually pay less than what the cruise ship excursion charges. CruiserBruce Posted June 23, 2015 #3 Share Posted June 23, 2015 If you do a search on the Med Ports boards, here: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?f=603 you will find MANY threads on them. Summary: great prices, but a fair amount of customer service complaints. Note CruiseExcursions.com does NOT provide the tour. They are a broker. You give them your money, and they find a local provider. This has caused a number of issues.
