Two choice hotels

Can anyone tell me about the Comfort Suites at 7051 Bullard near UNO or the Comfort Suites at the airport in Kenner?

Do you have a car, and reason you are staying there, is for the free car parking?

 

You have no interest in any local touring, just the cruise parking is the priority?

We have been to NOLA many times. This time we're just coming in the night before to the outskirts and then drive to the port the next morning. We'll park at the port.

Between the two, I would choose the one near the airport.

 

The one on Bullard is farther away from downtown (it is nowhere near UNO) and not in a great neighborhood.

Also... If your booking on Choice Points, the Blake Hotel on the corner of Poydras and St Charles is part of the Ascend collection by choice and can be booked with points. You would still have to pay for overnight parking though at about $30. (Or park on the street... After 6pm it's free up till 8am and free all day Sunday)

 

The Comfort Suites on Bullard is not in a good area, needs renovation. I would advise against it.

 

The Comfort Suites in Kenner is OK, safe area, plenty of SAFE places to eat nearby, 20 minutes from the port by car.

 

There is also a Comfort Suites in Harvey that is only a couple years old and is in a pretty good area, about 20 minutes from the port.
