Grandkids so excited....

We had our scavenger hunt this evening and all the clues led up to revealing we are taking them on a cruise over Thanksgiving. They were so excited and couldn't believe it! It was so much fun for us to watch!!

Yes. We know first hand how exciting that can be. We did that very thing when our grandkids were younger. I taped clues under furniture and behind large items. Each kid had a different set of clues that led them all over the house to different places. It was just as much fun creating the clues and setting it all up as it was for them to find out we were taking everyone on an 8-day family cruise over Christmas on the new Carnival Magic (well, it had just come to Galveston in 2011). It was the cruise they still talk about the most.

DH and I have cruised for 10 years. We have 4 wonderful grandchildren 6, 4, 2, and 4 months. Would love to be able to take them cruising with us, but just not feasible on so many levels. We did however have a wonderful camping vacation with our 2 oldest last summer. The memories we have are priceless. Treasure the time you have with them and have a wonderful cruise.
