thanks for posting this review. I haven't been on a cruise in almost 30 years and it seems they have changed a bit. We are going on the Crown Princess to Alaska next Saturday (8/29). I can't wait! We are doing the all day Yukon tour - I hope it makes it back in time :)

For the seasoned Alaska cruisers - which is better Glacier Bay or Tracy Arm?

That's a frequently debated question on CC! ;)

 

The consensus seems to be Glacier Bay would be the best option for 1st time Alaska cruisers. That's the best option for viewing glaciers because getting to the glacier at the end of Tracy Arm is many times impossible to do. I think the approach through the narrow Tracy Arm is better than GB's wider approach.

 

But for a 1st time to experience an Alaskan glacier then Glacier Bay is probably "best" for most passengers.
