dollymomma Posted July 10, 2015 #1 Share Posted July 10, 2015 Hubby and I are booked on oasis at the end of August with another couple. Our TA has booked us in for traditional dining, not MTD. Today we got an email from RCI thanking us for choosing MTD and we could book our reservations. My TA has assured me not to worry, however we have always had issues with the dining room screwing up our requests (table for two, etc.). Our reservation online does say traditional dining. I'm wondering why they would email us saying we need to book our dining?

cruisingsince94 Posted July 10, 2015 #3 Share Posted July 10, 2015 No reason to worry. You will have traditional dining. The email is indeed sent regularly now in the hopes of you booking specialty dining prior to your cruise. We get them as well and it has not impacted our actual booking of late traditional dining. cb at sea Posted July 10, 2015 #4 Share Posted July 10, 2015 RCI tends to make everything as difficult and as confusing (regarding communication between them and you!) as possible. You're fine.
jticarruthers Posted July 10, 2015 #5 Share Posted July 10, 2015 (edited) We even get emails suggesting we buy meals and excursions on ships we aren't booked on ... so far no details on how we get onboard those ships to enjoy the meals we bought but we will keep trying :) Edited July 10, 2015 by jticarruthers
xxoocruiser Posted July 10, 2015 #6 Share Posted July 10, 2015 If concerned just pull up your booking in your C&A account on RCCL's website as the dining option chosen will appear.

I ordered a beverage package for my sister on an upcoming cruise, and I got an email at my email address (but addressed to her!) encouraging her to pre-order a beverage package! Go figure.... Langley Cruisers Posted July 10, 2015 #8 Share Posted July 10, 2015 We even get emails suggesting we buy meals and excursions on ships we aren't booked on ... I know, right?! Once I got an e-mail about the cruise I'm supposedly booked on in 2019. Too funny!
