BunlessInSeattle Posted July 11, 2015 #1 Share Posted July 11, 2015 I've gone on multiple cruise lines in the past, so please forgive the question... does Holland America have assigned check in times? Trying to let our Housesitter know when to meet us :)
Rare Crew News Posted July 11, 2015 #2 Share Posted July 11, 2015 (edited) I've gone on multiple cruise lines in the past, so please forgive the question... does Holland America have assigned check in times? Trying to let our Housesitter know when to meet us :) No. Just show up at least 90 minutes before sailing.. take us away Posted July 11, 2015 #4 Share Posted July 11, 2015 90 minutes is the minimum time for check-in - they can refuse to allow boarding if less than this. HAL usually starts boarding about 11 or 11:30 am.
Krazy Kruizers Posted July 11, 2015 #5 Share Posted July 11, 2015 We like to get to the pier by about 10:45. Boarding usually begins at 11:30. You will be given a number either at the door or once you check in -- depends on the port. HAL tries to have the cabins ready by 11:30 so that you can drop off your carry-ons and do whatever you want -- go to lunch, tour the ship, etc.
