Question about Dining

We are on the waitlist for any time dining. Do wait listed people ever get their dining choice? Currently, we have the late dining. Can two people sit at a table for two, at the late dining?

We are on the Conquest, September 5.

Thanks.

We were booked on the Dream in 2012 and were wait listed for YTD.

Our first night we asked to sit at a table for two (we were late dining).

The request was granted and while the Maitre D made his rounds, I mentioned that we were really interested in YTD.

That night, we had a letter delivered to our cabin stating that our request had been granted.

I've also seen others go right to the dining room during embarkation and ask the Maitre D to grant their wish to change to YTD.

Sometimes you can get the requested time but since you are close to sail date probably not. Go see MD in afternoon of embarkation

Unless you are Diamond, in which case you are guaranteed the dining of your choice.
