Car Rental at Port Everglades??

We will need a car post cruise. Are there any car rental agencies located at the port? If so, which ones? If not, what is the easiest way to get a car from the port?

No rental agencies within the port area, but you can rent from any agency and they will have a shuttle that will take you to the place at the airport where you pick up a rental car.

^Not quite true, so I will elaborate. :)

 

As stated there are none right at the port, but most are close. Only 2 agencies operate the free shuttle bus between the Port and the Airport - otherwise, you will need to get yourself to, or get the shuttle (if they have one) to the closest office.

 

Here is some information for you, courtesy Cruise Critic member MADflyer:

 

"Alamo/National only shuttle from Airport. Must show return receipt to board shuttle. I use a big box store website and they often have incredible rates.

 

Hertz from Crown Plaza Hotel

Avis from Hyatt Pier 66

Budget on 17th in shopping center next to Renaissance Hotel

Sixt further up 17th.

Thrifty/Dollar just out western port exit."
